Twas an Evening in Bethlehem Cover Reveal
You’ve heard of Christmas on July, but Christmas should be celebrated year-round, right? So today, I offer you Christmas in August. More accurately, today I’d like to share with you the cover reveal for Jenelle Schmidt’s upcoming children’s book, ‘Twas an evening in Bethlehem!
A fresh look at an old story
In case it’s not obvious from the title, this is a Christmas-themed children’s picture book. It’s told in the same vein as ‘Twas a Night Before Christmas, but instead of old Saint Nick, the real story of Christmas gets told this time.
Featuring lovely illustrations from Sierra Klein, this unique book deserves a spot during your family’s Christmas celebrations for the upcoming holiday, and every one beyond.
It’s releasing on October 1, 2019, just in time for you to pick up your copy before the most wonderful time of the year arrives!

A big thank you to Jenelle and Storm Cave for letting me give you a sneak peek at this upcoming release. I hope you enjoyed it!
Jenelle Leanne Schmidt first fell in love with stories through her father’s voice reading aloud to her before bed each night. A dreamer and relentless opener of doors in hopes of someday finding a passage to Narnia, it was only natural that she soon began making up fantastical realms of her own. The award-winning author has published four books in The Minstrel’s Song series as well as a couple of short stories. She resides in the wintry tundra of Wisconsin with her husband and their four adorable children who are all named after characters in The Lord of the Rings.
