Through the Viscera Cover Reveal

They say a picture is worth a thousand words (though I’ve been known to say otherwise). Well, here’s one that is worth about 113,000 – at least to me. That’s how long my upcoming novel, Through the Viscera is and this is the cover.

If the word “viscera” doesn’t ring a bell it’s probably because it’s been a while since you read my first novel, Into the Vastor maybe you haven’t read it at all. As far as I know it’s not a real word. I made it up. I made up a lot of words for my Chronotrace Sequence series, actually. You can find them in the glossary at the back of the book, or here on this page if you’re curious. But all you need to know for now is that it refers to the tunnels that riddle the underground regions beneath the desert world of the Vast.

Here’s a sneak peak at what awaits in the soon to be released novel:

The sole survivors of an apocalyptic storm which destroyed the technological utopia of Oasis, Adan and Gavin are searching for answers. Armed with the chronotrace, a powerful device which can retrace the past, they set out to recover their lost memories, but end up stumbling upon much more.

Their search for answers will lead them across the endless desert, braving the relentless sand storms and the threat of primitive, technophobic desert raiders. But their greatest challenge will come not from the harsh world of the Vast, but from what lies beneath, in the eerie, phosphorescent tunnels known as the Viscera. For in them lurks a threat that was not meant to be disturbed. And once awakened, it could spell the end for everyone in the Vast.

The release date has yet to be announced, but I hope you’re intrigued to find out how Adan’s story unfolds.

Tomorrow they’ll be another post, featuring a downloadable desktop background for your computer with the image from the cover. Deo volente!

I love it!!! I can’t wait for the book. I think I need to re-read Into the Vast first, though, refresh my memory of what all happened.
